Access approximately 5 miles north of Hotchkiss on Hwy 133. Turn right on 3750 Road. First left on gravel road and first right in feedlot. Continue south to river.

Identified Problem - Habitat loss due to decades of channelization. Channel reconstruction has taken place in this location during the Midway Enhancement & Restoration Project, but still requires floodplain revegetation in many areas along approximately 4800 linear feet of the river.

Approximately 65 acres will be restored.
