At NFRIA permanent cross section No. 8 Access approximately 2.5 miles north of Hotchkiss on Hwy 133 on right.

Identified Problem - Habitat loss due to decades of channelization. Channel reconstruction has taken place in this location in a separate project but still requires floodplain revegetation in many areas along approximately 6500 linear feet of the river.

Approximately 90 acres will be restored. This site is contiguous with site # 3.
