At NFRIA permanent cross section No. 11 Access 1 mile south of Hotchkiss on 3400 Road, turn right on J Road, ½ mile west, turn right into property, stay to left

Identified Problem - Habitat loss due to extreme bank erosion along approximately 2000 linear feet on river left. 16-foot high banks to be sloped back, stabilized with rock toes and rock veins, and revegetated using bioengineering techniques.

Approximately 20 acres of habitat will be restored. Owner willing to put land into conservation easement and possibly donating a portion.
